Welcome to the culinary treasure that is Hidden Jade Cuisine, a delightful haven for Chinese food enthusiasts nestled in Quezon City, Metro Manila. Situated at 1274 Epifanio de los Santos Ave, this charming restaurant may be slightly understated from the outside, but it promises an array of flavors that certainly stand out.
One of the greatest appeals of Hidden Jade is its diverse menu that caters to various palates, showcasing the richness of Chinese cuisine. According to a review from a satisfied customer, Jet Koo, the restaurant might not reinvent the wheel, but it certainly excels within its realm. This sentiment resonates with many who've dined here and discovered a newfound favorite over more mainstream Chinese spots, particularly in the Banawe area.
Among the highlight dishes, we can't overlook the Oyster Cake (P500), which earned a remarkable 4.5/5 rating. Customers have praised its generous proportions and the ideal balance of potato starch, coupled with an abundance of oysters. This dish quite easily ranks amongst the best in Metro Manila, making it a must-try for any seafood aficionado.
Another standout is the Steamed Blue Marlin Tausi (P600), nicely reviewed for its fresh and generous serving of fish, seamlessly marrying taste and value. For those with a heartier appetite, the Hidden Jade Fried Rice (P500) delivers a comforting take on fried rice adorned with scallops and shrimp. However, its contrasting creamy sauce has sparked mixed feelings among diners for its weighty profile.
Service at Hidden Jade has received consistent accolades, with diners highlighting the attentive staff and the restaurant's clean, bright setting—perfect for enjoying a meal with family or friends. With ample parking and a soothing atmosphere that offers refuge from the bustling outside, it truly provides an inviting dining experience.
In conclusion, Hidden Jade Cuisine is a hidden gem that promises good food, ample portions, and a comfortable dining environment. Whether you're indulging in their renowned Salt and Pepper Spareribs or returning for another round of their delectable Yang Chow Fried Rice, this establishment is worth a visit. Make sure to explore their extensive menu—there's a good chance you’ll find your new favorite Chinese dish!

Went here with family earlier in the month. We pass by the restaurant (though hidden) on our regular commute and have also had friends who've eaten here with positive reviews. While the restaurant does not break new ground, it's very competent and is up there, personally, on my choices for Chinese food, especially here in Northern Metro Manila. I'd even go so far as to say I'm now discouraged from going to the Banawe-area Chinese restaurants until I've fully explored Hidden Jade's menu. Hidden Jade Fried Rice (P500) 3.5/5 I wasn't able to take a photo of the actual rice but it was pretty good Chinese fried rice with lots of scallops and shrimp from what I can recall. The Rice is covered with scrambled egg and a cream sauce is poured over the rice. In a way, it's kind of like Fookien Fried Rice in that the fried rice is served with sauce but of course the flavor profile is different. I'm not particularly impressed with the pairing of this sort of cream/bechamel sauce with the rice. It's an interesting contract but I don't think the salty fried rice is improved by the heavy but not flavor-forward sauce. I'd probably go with something like an egg drop soup (in sauce form) to keep the sauce light and not tamp down the flavors of the rice. Oyster Cake (P500) 4.5/5 The oyster cake is a good size and was prepared the way I like my oyster cake: good amount of potato starch and not so like an egg omelette with oysters. Oysters were plentiful. My top 3 oyster cakes in Metro Manila are probably Mitzi's (in 168), Long Kee (in Caloocan), and Hidden Jade. No order. Pork Lengua (P700) 3/5 This is okay but a bit tough compared to our other orders (as you age this becomes more important to you). The lengua did not really absorb the salty-sweet soy sauce (similar to what you get from a Steamed Lapu-Lapu order) so you'll have to scoop up some sauce yourself. Steamed Blue Marlin Tausi (P600) 4/5 Pretty good overall and lots of fish for the price. Better than any tuna dish I had when I went to Davao a week later to be quite honest. Restaurant is a good size, bright, and clean. Restrooms were clean and dry. It never felt warm despite the noontime sun glaring outside. Service was attentive. Really nothing to complain about.

The food is so awesome enjoyed the peking duck cooked in 2 ways the flavors are on point and the duck itself is tender and juicy. Also love their steamed suahe and hot prawn salad classic and delicious! The buco soup is so addicting!
